Buffer Festival is an annual Youtube film festival in Toronto. I can recall interviewing Founder/creator Corey Vidal in the early days of Buffer Festival and I’m so impressed at how much its grown in such a short time. My transition from traditional media to digital hasn’t been easy, but it’s events like Buffer Festival that help open my mind to the possibilities of this new world. Last year when I went to this event I vowed I’d be involved in some capacity next time. This year I proudly moderated a panel discussion at the festival’s industry day.
Had a random idea to get together with some bloggers, youtubers etc of Caribbean descent. I feel like it’s always good to connect with like minded individuals from time to time and do a check in. It’s difficult for people who are not in this world to understand what creators like me deal with. I was craving convos with people who can relate.
