In case you haven’t noticed pink is one of my favourite colours. I don’t consider myself super girly… but I just like pink! Shot this look down near Sugar Beach in Toronto, close to where we tape our radio show.

I’m really enjoying all the recent opportunities to talk about the things that I’m passionate about. Namely beauty, fashion, self-employment & culture.
Is it button down or button up? My husband and I have this debate all the time lol. What’s your take? Any way what I know for sure is that I’m loving this trend. Recently got a “button down” brown fitted dress from H&M and I can’t wait to wear it again!
Here’s a segment I did with my friends from CHCH Morning live. It was all about summer curly hair solutions.
Summer always threatens to bankrupt me…and it’s not even officially summer yet! So many fun trends. Particularly right now every little frill is catching my eye. Here’s how I incorporated a frill into a recent look. I’ve also included some cheap frills (ok I’m gonna stop now lol) that I spotted online.
Our radio show Kultur’D aired its fourth episode on Saturday. Can not believe we’ve done so many episodes already! So far we’ve been lucky enough to interview reality star and body positivity activist Roxy Earle, comedian/actress Neelu Handa and Director X to name a very few. Continue Reading…
I was a weather broadcaster for many years so I’m very much aware of the sun’s strength, UV index and all of that. Saying “slather on that sunscreen” was a regular part of the weather vernacular. Even though I always wear sunscreen (albeit not enough in the winter) I have a love hate relationship with it. For two reasons. I hate the mousey, grey skin look that I get after using most sunscreens. Black and brown toned people know what I’m talking about. I’m not trying to look like a jumbie! Also I always hesitate putting sunscreen on my face for fear of having a break-out.
Tartans and plaids are very big for fall, but it’s also quite a spring trend. This SMYTHE blazer is an easy way to infuse some plaid into your Spring wardrobe. I paired it with jeans, but I can definitely see this blazer with a tank and denim shorts. Or perhaps even over my ivory sheath dress.
Hope you had a great weekend. Or perhaps you’re enjoying memorial day if you’re in the U.S. I’m kinda wishing it was memorial day here too! Had a busy weekend and could do with the extra days rest lol. Thought I’d share a little work week fashion inspo. This is a typical casual meeting or pr event type outfit for me.
Got lots of love from y’all on this Ankara print dress from OMI WOODS. I’ve featured the Canadian line on my blog many times before. They call it this gem the LUPITA DRESS. It comes in two prints. Makes me feel like a queen when I wear it! Sharing a few more views of this dress and details below on how to get it!
