Here’s a segment I did with my friends from CHCH Morning live. It was all about summer curly hair solutions.
I was a weather broadcaster for many years so I’m very much aware of the sun’s strength, UV index and all of that. Saying “slather on that sunscreen” was a regular part of the weather vernacular. Even though I always wear sunscreen (albeit not enough in the winter) I have a love hate relationship with it. For two reasons. I hate the mousey, grey skin look that I get after using most sunscreens. Black and brown toned people know what I’m talking about. I’m not trying to look like a jumbie! Also I always hesitate putting sunscreen on my face for fear of having a break-out.
Hi hi spent a few days in Ottawa this week. Was fortunate to book a role in a movie filming there. Such a great experience and crew. Had loads of fun but shooting hours can sometimes be crazy depending on where you’re filming. So I returned a bit tired and I noticed it on my skin.
