Denim Ruffled Sheath Dress

Part of being a creator means getting help to make your vision come to life. So I often have to attend meetings to pitch my ideas. Sometimes it can get done via email, but there are days in person chats are necessary. Was excited to wear this new textured ruffled sheath dress from Ann Taylor.

I love a sheath dress and apparently people have noticed. I was on a panel the other day and we were talking about brand. One of the panelists used me as an example saying ” I know if I go to an event Nneka’s gonna be wearing some fab sheath dress!” It’s for sure my go to look for a number of reasons. This Ann Taylor sheath dress is no exception.

The ruffle detail on the neckline is so cute! I like the way it cinches my waist and is forgiving on my hips. This denim is basically a neutral colour that goes with most. This meeting was a bit more casual so I went with a two toned neutral wedge from Chinese Laundry and this zipper pocket cross body from Amazon. I could also wear this dress with black pumps or colourful block sandals for impact. Most importantly I feel confident. Would love to hear your thoughts on the dress. Wish me luck!
