What’s In My On Set Bag

April 20, 2018
On set bag

I just finished packing my on set bag for a 1 day shoot for a new movie. It’s a pretty big one…my lips are sealed. I always bring more things than I need to, but I just always like to be prepared (former girl guide here.) Here are some of the items that I always take to set.

Regardless of whether it’s a movie, tv show, a photoshoot or I’m shooting something in studio for my online show, I always tend to bring the same stuff. Come to think of it I need to just get doubles of these items and leave the damn bag packed all the time!!

Anyway, check out my must haves and let me know what you think.

HAIR:

Oribe Hair Spray – I carry a mini one. My absolute fave hair spray. It’s light and smells really good.

Hair Pins – I typically won’t use these on a movie set but they’ve definitely come in handy on a photoshoot/online video shoot.

Brush

Paddle Brush

SKIN:

Small makeup kit – With blush, eye liner, foundation compact, concealer, small brushes, lip gloss, a few lipsticks, brow powder, mascara.

Body Spray

Deodarant

L’Occitane Shea Butter – Now you know this is my secret for shiny skin. I put extra on my legs arms and shoulders. (Can get a little messy when I’m wearing silk or a similar fabric)

Lip palm

Nail clipper

CLOTHES:

Sometimes I don’t know what my wardrobe is until I show up on set so I bring lots of under garment options.

Second bra

Extra underwear

Spanx

EQUIPMENT:

I think the longest I’ve spent waiting in a trailer to go on set is 12 hours.

Phone charger

Ipad or Laptop

SNACKS:

Yes on movie/tv sets there is craft services, but sometimes it’s far away

Manadarin

Banana

Cranberry Nut Mix

OTHER:

Water Bottle

Pack of kleenex

What else do you think I should have in my on set bag?!
