The #EveryBODYPlayAhMas Movement

Model Nadelle Lewis has a deep love for mas and Caribbean culture, and for the past three years she has been encouraging full figured women to register and play mas. The #EveryBodyPlayAhMas movement helps to boost confidence and reminds women that their body shape doesn’t have to get in the way of anything they want to do.

The movement inspires them to proudly participate, and not have to hide or apologize for it. The hashtag #playahmas, is a popular hashtag used by masqueraders, however to make it more inclusive Nadelle asked people to tag their photos with #everyBODYplayahmas! The rest is history.
