As you may have seen on my social media I went to St.Vincent & The Grenadines last week to co-host Miss SVG. Miss SVG is the island’s marquis stage show and the unofficial kickoff to its carnival festivities. 7 bright and beautiful Vincentian women graced the stage last Saturday. The theme was empowering young girls and women in 2017 and beyond. I watched from the sidelines in awe as the ladies bravely sauntered out, each with a confident twinkle in their eyes. Their dedication and hard work glaringly evident. I have no doubt I’ll be hearing more success stories from all these women…all of them queens, glistening with magic. Shine on girls…you got this!!
Much love and thanks to the CDC and La Ferne Fraser (coordinator of the beauty shows committee) for this opportunity. I was honoured and filled with Vincy pride standing on that stage in Victoria Park.
Here are a few pictures from the big night.
