I’ve always wanted to host a talk show. Even before my obsession with Oprah, I was hosting make believe talk shows in my living room, roping in whomever would let me!
I started this blog and my youtube channel as a way to look inward after a years of looking outward. It’s amazing what happens if you really let go and give in to the process.
When I first started thinking about leaving CP24. This talk show idea was the first thing I wanted to do. But to be honest I thought that I was in some way limiting myself focusing on one area. At the time I thought it was me thinking too small. But in actuality that was my true self saying ‘this is where your heart lies…this is the kind of stuff you talk about anyway, it’s what comes natural.” Through this process of journaling….getting rooted and grounded I’ve come to understand and feel comfortable with that truth.
As I mentioned in my Facebook live chat last week, I know this decision may result in me losing some of my audience …that’s inevitable when you focus in on one area…and I’m ok with that. I have to do what feels right in my heart.
So this is the main content you’ll see now on my youtube channel but I’ll still continue to vlog my life and create other content around the Caribbean lifestyle theme.
Here’s the 2nd trailer for my new show shot and edited by Victoria Long of HeraCreative. There are so many more people to acknowledge, which I will once the show launches. I’m also going to be doing full outfit breakdowns(already getting requests) for each episode. My wardrobe stylist for the show is Michelle Lyte. The first episode goes live very soon, if you sign up to my mailing list HERE you’ll be the first to see the episode before I even share it on social media etc. Thanks for your support!
