So inspirational!!! Love all those valuable points. This holds true for so many people. Life is short – make the most of it. Adorable clips of you throughout had me lol!! Keep it up. ??
Yes; a lone Caribbean girl of the 60s started as a file-clerk, did extension courses in pursuing a career path, accomplished the job-goal at age 31, got married few years later and then quitted my goal-job and relocated to another province……became a career mother which was no problem with family’s support. Yet, that move-on challenge lives on. Moved to the Caribbean, opened family business, another risk but I continued to see these challenges as (may be) developing inconveniences but valuable self-growth. Well, things happened and my then 6 year old son and I returned to Canada. Yes, I did the bottom jobs again but be assured that one never loses their ambition, their principles, that what they were taught through their early years. It carries you through and with grace, dignity and respect you pursue…….I am now retired, still in the spirit of moving-on, happy and contented today. I admire your drive Nneka, nice video in the spirit of sharing, educating others. I always believe that Helping is the greatest accomplishment one will ever experience in their life-time; as long as you know that YOUR help many most likely do not comes from those your helped through your journey.
