I’m trying something new here. The whole posing for pictures thing is new for me. Yes it’s my job to talk to a camera but not talking and bussing style…by myself…in the middle of the street…for a still camera is very hard. But like I said I’m trying something new here. So go easy on me. I’ve been slipping when it comes to practising to step out of my comfort zone. Like anything the more you practice doing things that feel weird, the easier it becomes. So I’m getting back to it.
Hope you like these shots from St. Lawrence market. While the experience is uncomfortable the outfit is not. This is a typical Nneka outfit. A striped jersey dress at, or slightly below the knee, especially one that I can still wear a normal bra? What… sign up me up! Couple that with a style of shoe I’ve been wearing since before I needed a bra, and I’m happy. The necklace is an old one from H&M that I zhushed up with a peacock pendant given to me by a dear friend. The green and silver beach glass bracelet, a gift from my mum & step dad that I never take off. Can’t remember where the other bracelets are from. I never wear a completely brand new outfit.
