Higlights from last night’s Atoms Of Fashion event at the Japanese Canadian Culture Centre.
As I mentioned in my September goals video, I want to do more speaking events this month. I jumped at an opportunity to speak at the Atoms Of Fashion event because it sounded different from the usual fashion events, and I could tell the organizers were passionate about helping others. There were many creative entrepreneurs and budding entrepreneurs in the room, so I decided to speak about the importance of taking risks. I touched on how risk taking has manifested in my life and the success and fulfilment it has brought me.
This event was a celebration of art and fashion. It was a sort a hybrid fashion show and market place. It featured published fashion designers, notable artists, stylists, creative directors and professional photographers. I was fortunate to meet some really talented and ambitious folks. My friend Kerra Denel and I were impressed by the art work and designs. The team behind Atoms of Fashion also launched their new scholarship program. Be sure to look them up and support!
Here are a few shots and video from last night.
