How To Help Islands Affected By Hurricane Irma & Maria – Caribbean Hurricane Relief

Caribbean Hurricane Relief

My heart is aching as I watch the images of destruction and devastation in the wake of recent hurricanes. I’ve been sitting around wondering how I could help islands like Barbuda, Dominica, and the many other islands affected. I decided to do some research and have since made a donation. I’ve put together a list of all the resources I’ve found so that you can do the same.

I did do some brief research of the validity and credibility of each of these links. However, I strongly suggest you do your due diligence before making any donations. I should note that some of the groups I listed below are also looking for volunteers (not just on the ground.) So if you’re thinking you don’t have money to give…your time is just as valuable. If you learn of any other ways to help, please put links etc in the comments below and I will update this post. I also wanted to add that I’ll be co-hosting the “Fete For A Cause” event on October 13th in Toronto with 100% of the proceeds going to hurricane relief.
